Reiki means Universal Life Force. It is an ancient Japanese technique that focuses on moving universal life energy to support the body’s natural healing process. Reiki assists in restoring balance on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
Zen Shiatsu can be very effective in supporting shifts with a variety of conditions from anxiety and depression, to joint pain, to insomnia. The treatment allows the body to relax, promotes the smooth flow of blood and qi or vital life force, and activates the natural or innate healing power of the individual.
Body Centered Psychotherapy
Body Centered Therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach to wellness that recognizes the interconnection between mind, body and spirit. Rooted in ancient healing principles and western evidenced based practices, it offers a natural way of attaining inner clarity, personal fulfillment, and physical and emotional health.
As Bessel Van der Kolk states, “the issues are in the tissues”, Kristin believes Yoga offers a tangible tool to access the tissues of the system through breath work and asana. Whatever thought or behavior patterns we tend to operate from generally show up on the mat. Kristin uses yoga in her practice to match the state of a client’s nervous system and bring about shifts.
